About RPQ-s Online

Our RPQ-s online course is specifically designed for Remote Pilots of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)/drones weighing up to 20kgs.

Combined with a one day flight assessment, theory examination and operations manual guidance, our course will provide you with a quicker, more cost effective route to gaining your authority to operate. If you require your Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) we also cover this.

Once you purchase the RPQ-s online training, you will gain access to our online eLearning Portal where you can complete the 10 distance learning modules. These include end of module self-tests to help ensure you have learned the knowledge required to complete your RPQ-s theory test at one of our UK assessment centres.

Modules included within our RPQ-s Learning Portal:

  • Air Law Responsibilities
  • Airmanship and Aviation Safety
  • Human Factors
  • Meteorology
  • Principles of Flight
  • RPAS Components
  • Airspace Classification
  • Latitude & Longitude
  • Basic Map Reading
  • RPAS Operating Procedures

On completing your RPQ-s online training you can then book your one day assessment which will consist of a theory test based on the online theory modules, an overview of planning a drone operation, a check of your operations manual and finally a practical flight assessment.
